First Years of Teams in the RIIL

New England Championship Information

New England Council

• Two rounds of qualifying precede the 32-player Singles Tournament and two rounds of qualifying precede the 16-team Doubles Tournamen

• The top 6 teams qualify for their respected division's postseason torunament

• In the quarterfinals No. 1 and No. 2 receive byes, No. 3 plays No. 6, and No. 4 plays No. 5

• In the semifinals No. 1 plays the winner of the 4-5 quarterfinal match and No. 2 plays the winner of the 3-6 quarterfinal match

• Finals are held during the last weekend of May

• New England Championships are held on the second Friday of June (Singles and Doubles tournaments)
